April 19, 2012, is National High Five Day!
Wow, were we excited to find out that there is a National High Five Day! National High Five Day (abbreviated as NH5D) is celebrated on the third Thursday in April and was created by students at the University of Virginia back in 2002.
The high five has been a standard for celebration of sporting victories, special events, competitions, humorous statements, and many other activities for decades. It’s no wonder that there is a national holiday in its honor!
This April 19th, Cold is on the Right Plumbing encourages you to spread the high-five love. This includes YOUR PLUMBER, friends, family, passersby, and total strangers. The more high fives you give, the better. In case you are wondering, it’s okay to give a “low five” on April 19th, but only AFTER you’ve given a “high five.”
Want to know the trick for the perfect high five? Look at the other person’s elbow, as you are about to high-five them. It will result in a perfectly accurate high five (we’ve tried it, it works!).
And remember, here at Cold is on the Right Plumbing, HIGH FIVES are always free.
